Villa Runn is a modern and spacious house in a peaceful setting in Falun, with a view of Lake Runn and easy reach to swimming, nature and day trips. We rent the house to a small number of guests who value quiet, time with family, and unhurried days.
We are the family who owns the house. We don't live here year-round, but it is ours — and we look after it with care.
We rent out Villa Runn to a few guests each year, mostly during the summer and autumn. Our hope is that those who come here can land, rest and experience Dalarna at a calm pace. We're happy to answer questions before any booking is confirmed — it's important to us that the stay works well for both sides.

The house sits in a quiet setting just outside Falun. It isn't on the lake, but Lake Runn is within easy walking or driving distance.

The nearest swimming spot is a few minutes by car. Public bathing areas and walking paths along the shore.

About 15 minutes by car. Restaurants, supermarkets and the UNESCO-listed Falun copper mine.
Dalarna all around
Sundborn, Bjursås, Leksand and Tällberg are all within reasonable day-trip distance.

No, the house isn't lakefront. It sits in calm nature near Falun, with a short drive to Lake Runn. We feel this location — slightly set back from the lake — gives the lovely combination of quiet and freedom.
No, we don't accept direct bookings. Because this is our own home, we read every enquiry personally and get back to you. We reply as soon as we can.
We're flexible. Many guests reach out several months ahead, but shorter notice can sometimes work too. Send an enquiry and we'll let you know.
